The Organic Pantry, is based at a family run organic farm near Tadcaster, North Yorkshire. The Watson family have farmed the 300-acre plot at St Helens Farm for over 100 years. As Jonnie and Fanny took over custodianship of the land they were raising three small children and becoming increasingly concerned about the state of the environment and the damage caused by modern farming practices. In 1999 they were fully certified as organic growers and The Organic Pantry was born. Today we grow from seed over 50 different varieties of vegetable and salad plants and still hold to our aim to sell our produce directly to customers.
Produce is available through our farm shop, local markets or direct delivery through our Box Scheme. Our online shop is extensive, where we aim to bring together the entire gambit of organic foodstuffs to the wider marketplace, so alongside our own fruit and vegetables we can supply organic store cupboard essentials, organic meat and dairy and ethical household and beauty product lines. We aim to be able to provide everything you could need to eat in a healthy and sustainable way. If there are things we don't have then we are more than happy to source them for customers.
In all our boxes there are recipe suggestions, information on nutritional research and organic growing tips. From vegan to gluten free, juicing to paleo - we try to keep supplies plentiful for every diet.
